Munro Table Hockey - the first mechanical Table Hockey Game
The history of mechanical Table Hockey Games starts at the beginning of the 1930er years
(supposed 1932 or 1933) by a game developed by Donald H. Munro from Toronto / Canada.
The first Munro Table Hockey Game reminds to a pinball automat,
that is being played from two facing sides.
Each player tries to shoot a wooden or an iron ball into the opposing goal by mechanical flippers.
Because of the upward curved board the ball always remains "in the game".
The Munro Game was produced and improved by the Munro Company over decades
and was especially in Canada very popular until far into the 1950'th years.
